About Tamir Golan

Tamir Golan was born in 1999 in Israel. He is a graduate of the Alon High School of the Arts, RamatHaSharon. He served in the IDF as an Outstanding Dancer while studying at the “Maslool -Professional Dance Program” directed by Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. In 2021, Tamir participated in “1|2|3” - a program for emerging choreographers at Suzanne Dellal Centre, and created three new pieces. He won the “Outstanding Creator” for his duet creation. Tamir danced with “Avshalom Pollak Dance Theater” between the years 2019 to 2022. Under the framework of 1|2|3 internatiol tours, Tamir was chosen to participate with his works at “Holland dance festival” (Den Hagg, Holland), “MILANoLTRE” (Milan, Italy).Tamir was chosen to receive a two-month residency at "Quartier Am Hafen" in Cologne, Germany, in cooperation with the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, to create a new work.
